What it does
A measurement is only useful if the person paying for the work can follow it. That is the whole idea.
Calculates the wear
Enter the clutch position values from the tester. The app works out the wear against the maximum allowed for that gearbox and shows what is left of the friction material.
Prints the report
One A4 page with the dial, the readings, the method and space for the technician and service advisor to sign. Print it or save it as a PDF.
Remembers the car
Every printed job is saved on the device and searchable by number plate, VIN, model or date. Reopen an old job and print another copy.

Something to hand across the counter
The dial says how much friction material is left. The traffic light says what to do about it. Underneath, every reading that produced the number, so another workshop can check the work.
If a wear limit has been changed from the app default, the report says so — the customer's copy always states which figure was used.

Where to read every value
The app tells the technician which control unit, which channel or measured value block, and what each line means — per model, with the traps that catch people out. There is room to record the menu path for your own tester, so the next technician does not have to work it out again.

Search by plate, VIN, model or date. Useful when the same car comes back — you can show the customer how quickly the clutch went from one service to the next.
Jobs live on the device and can be backed up to a file. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
